Wedding Save The Date Design
Stationery and Web Design | 1 month | Dec 2023

Designed save-the-date wedding invitations and a wedding website for my dear friends Zoe and Colton. Invitations featured a photo of the couple, wedding date, and wedding website details.
The corresponding website project can be found here.
Final Design
The final save-the-dates rock a cool retro vibe, like that of a screen-printed photo. Along with a young photo of the couple, the date, and the deets for the wedding website, of course!
Ideation
I began by selecting a color scheme, ultimately opting for a soft pink. Despite the challenge of working with a low-quality photo, I used Photoshop to enhance its appearance, adjusting exposure, contrast, brightness, and curves. The result was a natural, film-like image that complemented the chosen color palette.

The next step was designing the back of the card. I incorporated a handwritten invitation from the mother of the bride and a graphic. Using Photoshop, I aligned both elements and added color to complement the front of the invitation. I experimented with various colors for the lettering and background, ensuring harmony with the overall design.

The fourth step involved selecting the color combination for the front and back of the card. After consideration, we opted for a vibrant front image paired with a more subdued, neutral version of the pink on the back.

The final step entailed incorporating the wedding website information onto the card in a visually appealing yet legible manner. Carefully balancing aesthetics with readability, I ensured that the website details seamlessly complemented the overall design of the invitation.
