Designed a wedding website for my dear friends Zoe and Colton. The website served as a one-stop destination for all pertinent information- the venue, schedule, photos, travel arrangements, lodging options, registry information, and the RSVP process.

The full website can be found here.

Choosing a Color Palette

For the wedding website project, I initially sought inspiration from Northern California's rustic charm, drawing from vineyards, fall colors like reds and browns, and greenery. However, at the bride's request, we shifted towards a summer-themed palette of blues and pinks, which complemented the initial browns and greens while aligning with her vision. This adjustment ensured the website design reflected her preferences while maintaining visual harmony.

Picking Fonts

Given the short-term nature of the project, I enjoyed greater freedom in selecting fonts for the wedding website. For the headers and subheaders, I opted for Adobe Caslon Pro, a sophisticated serif font that exudes elegance and seriousness— because why not its a wedding! To add a touch of style, all headers were italicized, enhancing their visual appeal. For the body text and paragraphs, I chose Helvetica Neue, a clean and legible sans-serif font. This choice ensured that important content remained clear and readable, even on smaller devices, enhancing the overall user experience.
